Preflight is an internal pre-sales tool built and operated by Acro Commerce. A rep enters a prospect's details, reviews a commerce-platform shortlist, and receives a recommendation. This page explains what the tool collects and how we handle it — across the whole tool, the intake flow and the report pages alike.
What we collect
What you enter. The prospect's website, the business details you confirm, and — only if you ask us to email the report — an email address.
The reports we generate. We store each recommendation so it can be reopened from its link and improved over time.
Usage analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity across the entire tool, report pages included, to understand how it's used and to improve it. Clarity records page interactions and session replays and sets cookies; it may capture clicks, scrolling, and approximate location, and it masks form-field text by default. It does not run on local or preview builds. See Microsoft's privacy statement for how Clarity handles that data.
How we use it
We use this information to produce the recommendation, to support the pre-sales conversation it's built for, and to make the tool better. We don't sell it, and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it lives, and who can see it
Reports and intake details are stored in our access-controlled database and are encrypted in transit. Access is limited to Acro Commerce and the partner involved in the deal. Analytics data is held by Microsoft Clarity under their terms.
Your choices
You can block or clear analytics cookies through your browser settings. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it removed, contact Acro Commerce at privacy@acrocommerce.com. Where a record has to be kept for a legitimate business reason, we'll redact rather than delete it.
